About the Author:

Michele has had a lifelong interest in food preparation and loves testing and tweaking recipes.  She spent many years as a kitchen manager at a girls camp where she was in charge of recipe development and also cooked daily for groups of 200.  Her first book, Dutch Oven Cookout: Step-by-Step has been called ” . . . a Dutch Oven Encyclopedia with its wealth of information in addition to recipes.”

In Eat, Drink and Be Green Michele turns her hand to creating recipes that make high-nutrient meals easy and appealing.  Her interest in food from other cultures has helped her come up with delicious combinations while her experience as a kitchen manager has honed her ability to keep recipes simple with easy-to-follow instructions.

Michele enjoys learning languages, taking photos of food and re-creating recipes she has tasted in her extensive travels abroad.  She enjoys eating healthy, but is a foodie at heart.  She believes food should taste good—especially when eating Green!
